When creating exclusive children's furniture, our priority is safety, ease of use, and functionality. Therefore, ensuring the highest quality of every element and attractive design in line with current trends, we use only carefully selected raw materials that have been thoroughly tested. We use durable materials, stable fastening systems, handles and hinges, and every product that reaches our customers is accompanied by a set of appropriate certificates and complies with the rigorous standards set by the European Union.
Materials we use to produce premium furniture for children's rooms

For the production of exclusive Bellamy furniture – adjustable cribs, two-door wardrobes, children's desks, chests of drawers, or cradles – we use top-quality materials, such as wood, laminated particleboard, MDF, and HDF.
Particleboard is one of the most popular building materials. It is created by gluing compressed wood chips under high pressure and high temperature. It is a wood-like material with a uniform structure, high dimensional stability, and increased resistance to external factors such as fungi, mold, insects, and fire. It is also an ecological and economical material – it allows for almost 100% utilization of wood raw materials.

Another widely used finishing material in furniture making is laminate. Laminated boards are created by combining particleboard and MDF boards in the process of pressing wood fibers with the addition of special organic hardeners and glue. The finished product is covered with laminate, which is a veneer consisting of layers of paper impregnated with resin and pressed under appropriate conditions.
Laminated boards are extremely durable, resistant to mechanical damage in the form of scratches and impacts, as well as moisture. They can be produced in any colors and patterns with a smooth surface or a visible structure. The main types of laminates available on the market include HPL, metallic, mineral, and magnetic laminates.

For the production of luxury Bellamy furniture, we also use wood-based materials: MDF boards and HDF boards, which are high-density fiberboards created by pressing wood fibers with the addition of a binder and hardening compounds. These materials have versatile applications in the furniture, interior design, and construction industries. They can be freely covered with veneers, laminates, or impregnated. They are an excellent alternative to natural wood, are durable, and have a uniform structure and appearance. Compared to traditional wood, they do not require care and preservation treatments.

When creating timeless furniture sets for boys and girls, we also use solid wood. This natural, noble material is unparalleled. Only processed to give it the required shape and properly secured, it looks excellent, bringing peace and harmony to the interior. Solid wood is a guarantee of the highest quality, durability, and uniqueness. It does not deform, crack, or bend, maintaining its properties for many years. Furniture made using solid wood stands out for its exceptional aesthetic qualities and unique character.
Our furniture is also based on solid fittings and fastening systems. To ensure maximum comfort of use and smooth operation for many years, we use systems from renowned manufacturers: Blum and Hafelle. We use self-closing guides, push-to-open, and ball-bearing guides. These are innovative furniture fittings with high load capacity, characterized by strength and durability.
What standards must the above materials meet to be safe for a child?
For children's furniture to be approved for use, it must meet stringent safety requirements, e.g., PN-EN 716-1:2017 and PN-EN 716-2:2017. Structural materials in the form of laminated particleboard, MDF, or HDF should comply with the E1 hygiene class requirements and have safety certificates. In turn, the paints or varnishes used must be tested for the content of harmful substances and heavy metals, which is specified by the EN 71-3:1994 standard.
