Frequently asked questions
Delivery
What is the order fulfillment time?
The current order fulfillment time can always be found on the specific product's page.
Bellamy products available in stock are shipped on the same business day if the order is placed and paid for by 10:00 AM. Orders placed or paid for after this time are usually shipped on the next business day.
If a product is temporarily unavailable, the estimated fulfillment time is provided directly on its page. This way, you know when to expect shipment before making a purchase.
For orders including several products with different availability dates, the entire order is typically shipped when all products are ready – therefore, the longest of the stated fulfillment times applies.
We understand that purchasing children's furniture often coincides with important events – preparing a room for a new family member, moving, or starting a new stage in a child's life. Therefore, we make every effort to ensure that order compilation and shipping proceed as quickly as possible.
What is the difference between order fulfillment time and delivery time?
Order processing time is the time we need to prepare and hand over your order to the carrier. You can always find the current processing time on the product page.
Delivery time, on the other hand, is the time the carrier needs to deliver the shipment from the moment it is picked up from our warehouse.
The total waiting time for an order therefore includes processing time + shipping time. For international deliveries, transit time may be longer and depends, among other things, on the destination country and the selected carrier.
What are the delivery costs?
Delivery cost depends on the chosen transport method, the type of products ordered, and the delivery address.
The following rates apply in Poland:
-
Parcel shipment – from PLN 14.00
-
Pallet shipment – from PLN 197.00
For orders over PLN 500, we offer free delivery within Poland.
For international shipments, the exact delivery cost will be automatically calculated during the order placement and displayed in the shopping cart before finalizing the purchase. This way, you always know how much you will pay for shipping before placing your order.
For some international deliveries (e.g., USA, Australia, etc.) or transports requiring individual organization, the cost is determined individually.
Can I order Bellamy furniture delivery to another European country?
Yes. We ship Bellamy furniture, mattresses, textiles, and accessories to many European countries.
When placing your order, select the country to which you want the products to be delivered. The available countries, delivery methods, and shipping costs are displayed in our online store.
The delivery time for international orders may differ from the delivery time within Poland and depends, among other things, on the destination country and the carrier.
If your country is not on the list of available destinations, please contact us. We will check the possibility of arranging transport and prepare a customized delivery offer.
Can I order shipping to the USA, Australia, or another country outside of Europe?
Yes. In many cases, we can arrange shipping to virtually any country in the world.
The cost of transport for countries outside our standard delivery zone is determined individually and depends on the order size, its weight, and the delivery location.
Contact us, and we will be happy to prepare an individual transport quote.
Does the courier bring furniture into the house or apartment?
No. Standard Bellamy furniture delivery does not include carrying the products into the building or apartment.
Delivery is made to the address indicated when placing the order, in accordance with the rules applicable to the selected carrier.
The transport service also does not include furniture assembly or packaging collection and disposal.
When ordering larger furniture, it is advisable to prepare for receiving the shipment in advance and, if necessary, arrange for assistance with its handling.
Do you offer furniture assembly?
No. Bellamy furniture is delivered as flat pack, i.e. in packages designed for self-assembly.
The furniture comes with assembly instructions, which should be followed to assemble the product. Correct assembly according to the instructions is particularly important for children's furniture and directly affects the safety of its subsequent use.
The standard delivery service does not include furniture assembly.
In how many packages will I receive my order?
The number of packages depends on the type, size, and quantity of the products ordered.
Smaller products, such as textiles or accessories, may be shipped in one package. Bellamy children's furniture, on the other hand, is delivered in flat-pack form and – depending on the model – may be packed in several separate packages or sent on a pallet.
If the order consists of several packages, we recommend checking that all elements of the shipment have arrived before starting assembly.
Who is delivering my order?
Bellamy orders are delivered by courier companies and carriers specializing in transport of furniture and large parcels.
In Poland, we use, among others, DHL for parcel shipments and JAS FBG for pallet shipments.
For international deliveries, the carrier is selected depending on the destination country, product type, and shipment size.
After your order has been dispatched, you will receive information about which carrier is delivering your order.
How can I track my shipment?
After your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with shipping confirmation and a tracking link.
This allows you to check the delivery status and track your parcel in real time.
If the tracking link does not work or you have trouble locating your parcel, please contact our customer service department.
I haven't received a shipping confirmation. What should I do?
If, according to the date provided on the product page, your order should have already been dispatched, but you haven't received shipping information, first check your Spam, Promotions, or Junk folders.
Also, make sure that the correct email address was provided when placing the order.
If you still cannot find the shipping information, please contact Bellamy Customer Service. We will check the status of your order and provide you with available information regarding the shipment:
Phone: +48 533 994 069
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
You can also use our contact form.
I want to change the delivery date of my order. How can I do that?
After placing your order, you will receive an email with information about the carrier and a tracking number.
In most cases, you can reschedule delivery yourself via the carrier's website or app using the tracking number.
Please note that rescheduling may not be possible if the parcel has already been sent out for delivery.
If you need assistance, please contact us by phone or email, and we will do our best to help you arrange a new delivery date.
From which country are Bellamy orders shipped?
All Bellamy orders are shipped from Poland.
From our warehouse, we ship children's furniture, youth furniture, mattresses, textiles, and accessories to customers in Poland and abroad.
This allows us to control how products are picked and secured before being handed over to the carrier.
How to prepare for the delivery of furniture?
For larger orders, please note that Bellamy furniture may be delivered in several packages or as a pallet shipment.
Before the planned delivery, make sure that there will be someone at the specified address to receive the shipment. Standard delivery of large items does not include carrying them into the premises, so for heavier packages, it is advisable to arrange for assistance in advance.
Upon receipt, also check the condition of the packaging. If you notice dents, tears, or other signs that may indicate damage during transport, if possible, check the contents of the shipment in the presence of the carrier.
We also recommend keeping the packaging and protective materials at least until you have checked the completeness of the product and completed assembly.
What if the courier cannot deliver the shipment?
Please ensure that you provide the correct delivery address, telephone number, and email address when placing your order, as this information is necessary for its proper fulfillment.
After the shipment has been dispatched, it is also advisable to track its status and ensure that it can be received at the specified address.
If delivery of the parcel proves impossible due to reasons attributable to the recipient and the carrier charges a redelivery fee, this fee may be added to the cost of resending the order.
What to do if the package arrived damaged?
We make every effort to ensure that Bellamy furniture is properly secured for transport. However, if you notice damage to the packaging or suspect that the product may have been damaged during transit, please, if possible:
- check the contents of the shipment in the presence of the courier,
- request a damage report,
- take photos of the outer packaging, protective materials, and the damaged product,
- contact us as soon as possible at reklamacje@bellamy.pl.
If you discover damage to the product only after unpacking, you can still submit a complaint. The absence of a damage report does not deprive you of the right to complain, but it may make it more difficult or prolong the determination of the circumstances of the damage.
If you notice damage before you start assembling the furniture, we recommend halting assembly until you receive further instructions from us.
Depending on the type of damage, we may, for example, provide a replacement part or exchange the damaged component.
What to do if there are missing items in the shipment?
If, after unpacking the furniture, you notice a missing component, hardware, or assembly part, first check the contents of all packages and compare the received components with the assembly instructions.
If the component is indeed missing, contact Bellamy Customer Service. To expedite verification, please have your order number, product name and color, and the number of the missing component as indicated in the assembly instructions ready.
In the case of a report concerning a specific component, we may also ask for photos of the product, packaging, or labels.
After verifying your report, we will inform you about further steps and, if appropriate, arrange for the delivery of the missing component.

When placing an order, you can log in to your Customer Account or make a purchase as a Guest.
However, a Customer Account is a convenient solution if you plan to make future purchases – it allows you to access your order history and information related to their fulfillment.
Can I change my order after placing it?
If you wish to change an order you have placed, please contact us as soon as possible.
The possibility of making changes depends primarily on the stage of order fulfillment. If the products have not yet been prepared and handed over to the carrier, we will try to implement the changes you indicate, as long as it is organizationally and logistically possible.
Changes may concern, for example, the products in the order, personal data, or the delivery method.
As products available in stock can be dispatched very quickly—even on the same business day—it is best to contact us immediately after realizing a change is needed.
Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?
If your order has not yet been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible. We will check if we can change the address before handing the parcel over to the carrier.
Once the order has been dispatched, the possibility of changing the address depends on the carrier and the current stage of transport.
Therefore, before finalizing your purchase, it is always worth carefully checking the provided delivery address, phone number, and email address.
Can I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible, before the products are shipped.
If the order has not yet been handed over to the carrier, we will check the possibility of cancelling it.
For products available in stock, the fulfillment process is very fast, so if you change your mind directly after purchase, do not hesitate to contact Bellamy Customer Service.
Regardless of the above, consumers are entitled to rights related to withdrawing from a distance contract under the terms specified in the Store Regulations and applicable legal provisions.
Why do some products have a longer lead time?
Not all Bellamy products are permanently in stock. Some furniture is continuously produced in our factory in Poland, which is why their lead time may be longer.
We do not import ready-made furniture from China or distant markets. Our products are made locally in Poland, with attention to quality, safety, and every detail. This means that if there is greater interest in a particular model, we may need additional time to produce it, finish it, and prepare it for shipment.
The estimated delivery time is always provided on the product page, before placing an order. This way, you know exactly when to expect shipment.
If an order contains both products available immediately and products with a longer lead time, we usually ship the entire order when all products are ready. Upon request, we can check the possibility of earlier shipment of available products.
Can I order products with different availability dates together?
Yes. You can add products with different availability dates to a single order.
In such a case, the longest lead time among the products in the order standardly applies. We ship the entire order once all ordered products are ready.
If you would like to receive products available in stock sooner, please contact us. If logistical capabilities allow, we can arrange a partial shipment. This may involve an additional transport cost, which we will inform you about beforehand.
Can I place an order by phone?
The Bellamy online store regulations provide for placing orders via the website www.bellamy.pl.
If you have trouble placing an order online or need help choosing a product, please contact our Customer Service Department. We will gladly guide you through the purchasing process and help you choose the right products, variants, and delivery method.
Can I receive a VAT invoice?
Yes. We issue a sales document for all orders in accordance with applicable regulations.
If you are purchasing as an entrepreneur and require a VAT invoice, please provide all necessary details for its issuance no later than when placing your order.
The sales document may be sent electronically to the email address provided during the order placement.
How to check product availability?
Current information on the availability and estimated delivery time for Bellamy furniture, mattresses, textiles, and accessories can be found on each product page.
If a product is in stock, it can be shipped very quickly. In-stock products ordered and paid for on a business day by 10:00 AM are shipped the same day.
For products temporarily out of stock, the estimated delivery time is provided on the product page.
When will my order be processed?
Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation at the email address you provided.
The order will be processed after confirmation by Bellamy. For payment methods requiring advance payment, processing begins after we receive payment confirmation, unless otherwise indicated for the chosen payment method.
The confirmation message will contain key information about your purchase, including the order number, products purchased, cost, delivery address, and estimated delivery date.
What to do if I haven't received an email after placing an order?
After placing an order, you should receive a confirmation email.
If you don't see it, please check your Spam, Promotions, or Junk mail folders. It's also worth ensuring that the correct email address was provided when placing the order.
If the email is still missing, please contact Bellamy Customer Service. We will check if the order was registered correctly.
What should I do if I entered incorrect information in my order?
If you notice an error in the delivery address, phone number, email address, or other details after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
If the order has not yet been handed over to the carrier, we will try to correct the data.
Correct contact details are particularly important for furniture and bulky item deliveries, as the carrier may need to contact the recipient for proper delivery.
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
At the Bellamy online store, we offer several secure and convenient payment methods. Depending on the country and availability of the given service, you can pay for your order using:
- payment card – Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro or UnionPay,
- BLIK,
- via Apple Pay or Google Pay,
- via PayPal,
- traditional bank transfer to Bellamy's account,
- selected local payment methods, available depending on the country, including Bancontact, iDEAL | Wero, Klarna, or MobilePay.
Card payments and selected electronic payments are handled via Shopify Payments, while PayPal is available as a separate payment method.
Available methods may vary depending on the country, currency, and customer location. You will see all payment methods available for your order during checkout.
Can I buy Bellamy furniture in installments?
We are currently working on introducing instalment payments for purchases in the Bellamy store.
We want to enable our customers to conveniently spread the cost of purchasing furniture and equipment for their child's room over time. Once the service is launched, detailed information regarding the operator, available financing options, and payment terms will be available on our website and during the checkout process.
When is payment for an order taken?
The moment of payment collection depends on the chosen method.
For payments by card, BLIK, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other electronic payments, the payment process takes place during the order placement. We proceed with the order after receiving payment confirmation.
If you choose a traditional bank transfer, we will begin processing your order after the payment is credited to our account. The time it takes for the transfer to be credited depends on the bank, so this method may slightly extend the start of order fulfillment.
If the product is in stock, orders placed and paid for on a business day by 10:00 AM are shipped on the same day. For traditional bank transfers, the determining factor is the moment the funds are credited to our account.
This last sentence is particularly important — it prevents a situation where a customer makes a transfer at 9:30 AM and expects shipment at 10:00 AM, even though the money has not yet arrived.
Returns and complaints
How to return a product?
If you made a purchase in the Bellamy online store as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract and return the product within 14 days of its receipt, in accordance with applicable regulations and the Bellamy Store Regulations.
To report a return, fill out the Bellamy return form. You can:
- send the form electronically to zwroty@bellamy.pl, or
- attach the completed form to the package with the returned product.
In the form, provide data enabling identification of the order and the returned product. Attaching the form or sending information about withdrawal from the contract in advance is very important, as it allows us to properly identify the shipment and efficiently carry out the return process.
The returned product should be properly secured for transport, preferably using the original packaging and safeguards, if available. The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the customer.
Returns should be sent to the address:
Bellamy Warehouse
ul. Składowa 4
38-540 Zagórz
Poland
For furniture, please carefully check the model, color, dimensions, and components before starting assembly. The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from using it in a manner exceeding what is necessary to ascertain its nature, characteristics, and functioning.
If the furniture has been assembled, used, shows signs of assembly, or has otherwise lost value, the refund amount may be appropriately reduced.
Detailed rules for withdrawing from the contract and returning products can be found in the Bellamy Store Regulations.
Can I return assembled furniture?
The right to withdraw from a distance contract is not automatically conditional on whether the product packaging has been opened. However, the consumer is responsible for any decrease in the product's value if they have used it beyond what is necessary to ascertain its nature, characteristics, and functioning.
In the case of furniture, full assembly may leave assembly marks, damage, or other changes affecting the product's value and its ability to be resold as a new product. If an assembled or used piece of furniture has decreased in value, the refund amount may be reduced accordingly.
Therefore, before assembling Bellamy furniture, we recommend checking that all components are complete.
Who bears the cost of product return?
The direct cost of returning a product is borne by the customer. This also applies to furniture and other bulky products, which may require pallet shipping.
Due to the size of the furniture, we recommend properly securing all elements before transport. It is best to use the original packaging and protective materials, if still available.
The cost of return depends on the carrier chosen by the customer, the size of the shipment, and the method of transport.
When will I receive my refund?
After effective withdrawal from the contract, we will refund the payments received from you in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the applicable regulations and the Bellamy Online Store Regulations.
We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned product or you provide proof of its return - whichever occurs first.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless we agree on a different method with you.
If the product has lost value as a result of use beyond what is necessary to inspect it, the refund amount may be reduced accordingly.
How to file a complaint?
If a Bellamy product is not in conformity with the contract, is damaged, has missing parts, or if you notice another problem, you can submit a complaint using our complaint form.
The form will allow you to provide all the information needed for efficient processing of your claim.
You can also send your complaint to the following address: reklamacje@bellamy.pl
In the event of damage during transport, please also include, if possible, photos of the packaging, protective materials, and shipping labels.
Upon receipt of your claim, we will verify the problem and inform you about the next steps. Depending on the situation, the solution may include, among others, delivery of a missing part, replacement of a damaged element, or another solution available under applicable regulations.
Tip: retain the product packaging and protective materials until the complaint process is completed – they may be helpful in verifying damage or arranging transport.
What to do if your package was damaged during transit?
If, upon receiving the package, you notice that the packaging is torn, dented, wet, or shows other visible signs of damage, if possible, check the contents of the package in the presence of the courier.
If the product was damaged during transport:
- ask the carrier to draw up a damage report,
- take photos of the outer packaging, the protective materials, and the damaged product,
- keep the packaging, protective materials, and shipping labels,
- contact us as soon as possible at reklamacje@bellamy.pl.
If you notice the damage only after unpacking the shipment, you can still file a complaint. The lack of a damage report drawn up upon receipt does not deprive you of the right to complain, but it may make it difficult to determine the circumstances of the damage.
If you notice damage before you start assembling the furniture, stop assembly and contact us.
What should I do if a furniture component is missing from the package?
If you notice a missing component, fitting, or assembly part during unpacking or assembly, first check the contents of all packages and compare the received parts with the list in the assembly instructions.
If a component is indeed missing, please write to: reklamacje@bellamy.pl
Please provide your order number, the name and color of the furniture, and the number of the missing component as per the assembly instructions.
After verifying your claim, we will inform you about the next steps and arrange for the missing component to be delivered.
There is no need to return the entire piece of furniture just because a single part is missing from the shipment.
What if I received the wrong product or item?
Before unpacking and starting assembly, check the furniture name and product variant on the label on the carton and compare them with your order.
This is especially important if you are outsourcing furniture assembly – make sure the assembler knows what products have been ordered and checks the markings on the packaging before starting work.
The logistics process involves many stages, so despite our control procedures, an error may occur during sorting or transport of the shipment. If the product name or variant on the carton does not match your order, do not open the packaging or begin assembly. Contact us at reklamacje@bellamy.pl, and we will check the shipment and help resolve the situation.
Do I need to keep the product packaging?
Retaining the original packaging is not a condition for making a complaint, but we strongly recommend that you do not discard packaging and protective materials until you have checked the product's completeness and finished assembly.
The packaging can be helpful if you need to identify the shipment, document shipping damage, or safely return the product or its parts.
In the case of product returns, the customer is responsible for properly securing the product for transport.
How long does it take to process a complaint?
We process complaints immediately, no later than 14 days from the date of receiving the complaint notification, in accordance with the Bellamy Store Regulations.
However, we are committed to resolving the issue as quickly as possible, and to this end, it is very important to receive a completed complaint form. A complete notification containing the order number, a detailed description of the situation, the item number, and photos allows us to verify the matter much more efficiently and propose an appropriate solution.
about Bellamy
Who is Bellamy?
Bellamy is a Polish brand of children's furniture, established in 2005, which from the outset has focused on creating safe, functional, and timeless spaces for children.
The idea for Bellamy arose from observing the children's furniture market at the time. Available products were often very colorful and decorative, but they did not always meet the real developmental needs of children. There was a lack of well-thought-out ergonomic solutions, the ability to adapt furniture to subsequent stages of development, and an appropriate emphasis on safety and compliance with standards. The market was also dominated by imported products, including those from Italy.
With a long-standing family tradition in carpentry, we decided to forge our own path and create children's furniture that would combine good design, ergonomics, safety, and functionality.
From the beginning, we wanted to design differently – looking at furniture not just through an adult's eyes, but primarily through the lens of a child's needs. That's why appropriate proportions, ergonomics, safety, and solutions allowing selected furniture to change with the child's subsequent developmental stages became so important to us.
Bellamy's first collections quickly found their admirers. Today, after more than 20 years, we continue to develop the same idea. We do not blindly follow short-lived trends. We create furniture in Poland that is meant to serve well for many years, and many of our designs remain in sale for a long time.
We care about production quality, relationships with suppliers and employees, and increasingly responsible solutions. We are constantly developing and changing, responding to the needs of modern families, but one thing remains constant: we want to create good, safe, and beautiful furniture that truly meets the needs of a developing child.
Where are Bellamy furniture produced?
All Bellamy furniture is manufactured in Poland. Polish production is an important part of our history and brand philosophy.
We cooperate with proven Polish manufacturing plants and domestic suppliers, with whom we build long-term relationships. This allows us to remain close to the entire process of creating our furniture – from design and material selection, through production, to quality control and product preparation for shipment.
We do not import ready-made children's furniture from China or other distant markets to sell it under our own brand. Bellamy designs its collections, and our furniture is made in Poland.
We believe that local production gives us greater control over quality and allows us to develop products in line with the values that are important to us: safety, durability, good design, and responsibility.
What makes Bellamy furniture stand out?
Bellamy furniture combines three values that have set our brand's standard from the very beginning: safety, functionality, and design.
We design furniture for children, which is why we view it differently than ordinary interior furnishings. We consider ergonomics, child-adapted proportions, structural stability, usage methods, and needs that change with the child's development.
At the same time, we believe that a child's room can be beautiful and timeless. We do not blindly follow short-lived trends. We design calm, elegant forms that do not lose their relevance after one or two seasons.
Many Bellamy furniture pieces are also designed to transform with the child. This means that one well-thought-out piece of furniture can accompany the family through several subsequent stages of childhood.
It is this combination of good design, ergonomics, safety, functionality, and durability that forms the basis of our design philosophy.
Are Bellamy's furniture safe for children?
Safety is one of the most important criteria for the design and production of Bellamy furniture.
Designing children's furniture requires special attention. We analyze the construction, stability, method of fastening individual elements, ergonomics, materials, and solutions appropriate for the child's age and use of the furniture.
We pay attention to details that are particularly important in a child's room – including appropriate proportions, stable fastening systems, handles and hinges, and forms designed with safe, daily use in mind.
Bellamy products for which specific safety standards apply are tested in accordance with the requirements appropriate for a given furniture category.
We also ensure the safety of materials and coatings used in production. We use paints that meet the requirements of standard EN 71-3, and the MDF boards and chipboards we use have documentation confirming compliance with applicable formaldehyde emission requirements.
For Bellamy, safety is not a single certificate – it is part of the entire furniture creation process.
Do Bellamy furniture have certificates and meet European safety standards?
Yes. Bellamy furniture and the materials used in its production meet the requirements and European safety standards appropriate for individual product categories.
We have documentation and certificates confirming the parameters of the materials used in production, including MDF boards and chipboards, and their compliance with applicable requirements regarding formaldehyde emissions.
Paints used for finishing furniture meet the requirements of standard EN 71-3, concerning the migration of certain elements and the safety of materials used in products intended for children.
Depending on the type of furniture, appropriate standards and requirements are also applied, including those related to construction, stability, strength, dimensions, and safety of use.
Therefore, we do not merely declare that our furniture is safe. We verify both materials and finished products, and we have documentation confirming their compliance with relevant requirements.
Detailed information regarding safety and standards for a specific model can also be found on its product page.
What materials are Bellamy furniture made of?
We select materials primarily based on the function, construction, and intended use of a specific piece of furniture.
In the production of Bellamy furniture, we use, among other things, wood sourced from verified domestic suppliers, MDF boards, and furniture boards that meet safety and formaldehyde emission requirements.
For finishing furniture, we use child-safe paints that comply with the EN 71-3 standard.
Not every piece of furniture should be made from the same material. A cot, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, or a desk have different structural requirements, which is why we select materials according to their intended use, paying attention to durability, stability, safety, and comfort of use.
You will always find detailed material specifications on the product page of your chosen Bellamy product.
How are Bellamy furniture designs created?
Designing children's furniture requires a combination of design, ergonomics, functionality, knowledge of child development, and safety.
When creating designs and prototypes, we analyze not only the appearance of the furniture but also how it will be used by both children and parents. We verify its functions, proportions, materials, construction, and solutions that impact comfort and safety.
In the design process, dialogue between designers, specialists, parents, and children is important to us. The experiences of families using our products are a valuable source of knowledge and help us develop further solutions.
A child's room is their small world. Furniture can support independence, development, a sense of security, and sensitivity to the surrounding space, which is why we design it with great care.
Do Bellamy furniture grow with the child?
Designing furniture that can accompany a child through successive stages of development is one of Bellamy's most important ideas.
All our cots have adjustable mattress height, removable rungs, and can be converted into a daybed. Selected models offer even more possibilities – they can be extended or transformed into a larger bed, making them useful much longer than standard infant cots.
We apply a similar philosophy when designing desks. The ability to adjust the height of the desk allows the learning and play area to adapt to the child's changing height and needs.
Chests of drawers, wardrobes, or shelves do not require such transformations. We design them as full-fledged, timeless furniture that can remain in a child's room for many years, even when it transforms from a toddler's room into a space for an older child or teenager.
For us, "grows with the child" means not only the physical transformation of furniture. It is primarily about designing for the long term.
Have Bellamy designs won any design awards?
Over the years, Bellamy's designs have been repeatedly recognized in prestigious design competitions in Poland and abroad.
We are particularly proud of the Red Dot Design Award, one of the most recognizable international awards in the field of design, which the UP! Bellamy cot received in 2021.
Our designs have also won:
- 2021 – Red Dot Design Award – UP! cot
- 2020 – Top Design Award – UP! cot
- 2018 – Dobry Wzór (Good Design) – Hoppa cot
- 2014 – Diament Meblarstwa (Diamond of Furniture Industry) – GoodNight cot
- 2012 – Diament Meblarstwa (Diamond of Furniture Industry)
-
2011 – Diament Meblarstwa (Diamond of Furniture Industry)
Awards are an important confirmation of design quality for us, but the most important evaluation remains how our furniture performs in the daily lives of children and parents.
When designing, we do not create objects solely for them to look good. We strive to combine aesthetics with ergonomics, functionality, and safety, because this combination defines good children's design for us.
How does Bellamy approach ecology and responsible production?
For Bellamy, responsible design starts with creating durable, functional furniture designed for many years of use.
We design furniture that grows with the child and timeless collections that do not require replacement with each subsequent stage of childhood. We believe that extending product life and reducing the need for frequent replacement is one of the most practical ways to approach home furnishing more responsibly.
Our furniture is manufactured in Poland, and the wood is sourced from trusted local suppliers. We care about the quality of the materials used and long-term relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and the people we work with.
We do not want to treat ecology as a fashionable slogan. It is a continuous process of searching for better solutions – in design, materials, production, packaging, and logistics.
For what age group are Bellamy furniture designed?
Bellamy's offerings have been created with various stages of childhood in mind – from the first days of life, through preschool and school age, up to adolescence.
You will find cots for infants, beds for younger and older children, desks, chests of drawers, wardrobes, bookshelves, and other furnishings for a child's room.
However, we do not determine the moment of transitioning to the next type of furniture based solely on age. Every child develops at their own pace. Factors such as height, psychomotor development, independence, individual needs of the child, and parental decisions are also important.
Therefore, we encourage you to choose furniture primarily based on the child's current developmental stage, rather than solely on their age in years.
