What do we pay special attention to when producing our products?

When creating furniture, textiles, and other items for children, we aim for them to stand out with high-quality craftsmanship and attractive design. However, we place particular emphasis on the safety of our products. Therefore, we use only materials that have been thoroughly tested, and their use in the production of children's items does not pose a threat to the health and life of the youngest. We ensure, among other things, that our furniture has rounded edges, chests are equipped with a safe closing system, shelves and wardrobes can be attached to the wall, and cot bases are made of very durable wood.

What do safety standards mean and which ones are adhered to at Bellamy?

To ensure parents' peace of mind regarding their children's health, we use only materials that meet specific safety standards in the production process. This way, we can be sure that the paints, glues, and furniture boards we use do not pose a threat to children's life and health. All our cots meet the safety requirements of European standards PN-EN 716-1:2017 and PN-EN 716-2:2017, which define the safety standards and test methods applicable in the European Union. The varnishes and paints we use comply with standard EN 71-3: 1994 – regarding the content of harmful substances and heavy metals. Laminated chipboards, MDF boards, HDF, and other construction materials meet the requirements of hygiene standard class E1 and also have safety certificates.
