The Book Nook bed is a modern and functional Montessori bed designed to support a child’s independence from the earliest years. It combines safety, comfort and a minimalist, elegant design that fits perfectly into the aesthetics of the Book Nook collection.

Functions of the Book Nook bed:
Safe floor-level sleeping in the spirit of Montessori – the low design provides easy access, maximum safety and freedom for the child to get in and out independently from an early age. Children can begin using this type of bed from around 18 months of age, provided their development allows it. This construction supports independence and builds confidence in young children.

Protective barriers for peaceful sleep – the Book Nook bed features fixed barriers on three sides, creating a safe and secure sleeping area. The front barriers are removable, allowing parents to adjust the level of protection to the child’s developmental stage and enabling independent entry and exit from the bed.

The bed grows with the child – thanks to the adjustable mattress height, the bed can be adapted to the age and needs of the child. When the child is small, the mattress base is mounted at floor level. As the child grows, the base can be raised to a higher position, allowing the bed to be used up to approximately 10–12 years of age, depending on height and individual development.

Additional drawer for toys and bedding – a practical solution for storing toys and bedding, helping maintain order and organize everyday items.
